Who We AreStep of Faith Of Outreach, Inc. provides programs out of the Boyd Outz Learning Center in cooperation with the Franklin County Board of Education. We are an outreach founded on biblical principles. We serve in the spirit of excellence with integrity and compassion for our community, our state, and our nation. We are establishing a reputation of reaching the lost and broken-hearted while treating everyone with dignity and respect, as we minister to the total person. Our desire is to help impoverished communities, families and individuals with food, clothing, shelter, literacy, and job placement opportunities.

Our HistoryIn 2003, God gave Ken a vision to begin the Step of Faith Outreach Ministry. It was truly A Step of Faith to begin again; he had a family with small children. Word of their ministry spread and he and his wife were constantly called upon to help in the community providing food and clothing to people in need. By word of mouth the people in need came and were helped. The food bank was founded to help serve this need.
The Franklin County Board of Education was one of the first partners and provided a home for the ministry. The old Lavonia Elementary facility was renovated with prayers, paint and hard work. Many successful programs started and continue including the Afterschool, and Summer Foods Programs. |
